A Gathering Darkness

Hello...

A Gathering Darkness is my second tale set within the Mirrored Realm. Written more for fun than anything, I found the story telling to be the perfect medium in which to expand upon the concepts of Necromancy that I had been toying with. It also left plenty of room to offer up other concepts such as vampirism, demonic entities, and the Elven mental link known within the Mirrored Realm as 'The Shar'.

The tale follows a young Human boy named Joshua. The small sea side town he calls home is beset by a plague, as the situation grows worst, elements within the town turn to violence to aid their survival. all the while hidden from sight within the coastal fog, a vengeful witch prepares to unleash a war upon the unsuspecting Human kingdoms.

This is the first part in my 'Plague War' series, detailing the opening of hostilities in a war that will eventually scare the surface of the world forever.
